NCL - Dawn - Quebec to Tampa 10/26/12

Have only sailed on Princess and Celebrity. NCL has a great itinerary for the end of October. Any insights as to atmosphere on the ship, age of passengers (last Princess cruise on 4/28/12 was 77) and cabins?

 

Are the majority of crew members from the Baltic states?

You'll find all age ranges on most NCL cruises, but a longer cruise like that one, in the middle of the school and "work" times, with a non-vacation type of destination, will probably tend to have more retirees and others who have spare time and disposable income.

 

I'd say the majority of crew members on most ships are from Asia. However, there are crew from Baltic states as well.

 

Our favorite cabins on any NCl ship are the Penthouse Suites. Of those, we prefer the forward facing Penthouses. The suite amenities on NCL are far and away the best of any cruise line.
