Grand Princess Suites

Hi There,

Does anyone know the differences in the Suites on the Grand Princess. Particularly the S3 & S6 ?? The S3 has less square footage then the S6 and is more expensive ??? I went ahead and booked the S6 because of the better price and the more square footage. But really wondering why the room with less square footage would be more expensive ???

thank you

cindi :)

S6 views are partially obstructed.

The obstruction is a pillar off to the side of the balcony. The balcony is wide enough to not be an issue, or at least to us. We have been in most of the different aft facing categories and prefer the cat 6 on the Dolphin deck because it is so quiet back there, passenger wise.

Some posters don’t like the sound of the wake, but we love it. We go to the Oregon coast a lot and love to sit and listen to the sounds of the sea.

In our minds the cat 6 on the Grand was a good choice.

We have stayed in what will be an S6 under the new system on the Grand and its sister the Golden and thought it was wonderful. There is a beam, but the balcony is so large it was not a problem for us. You will enjoy it.
