Easiest way to book the Chefs table

i've seen several different ways to book the Chefs table but I've also seen conflicting information. What's the best way to book it on the Triumph?

When I booked it on the Triumph in November, I used John Heald's FB page. Don't know if that's still a good way or not...

I'm on CC tonight looking for the best way to book it for the Magic.

I used John's blog because that's how I heard from this board to book. I'd never heard of the Chef's Table before. I think John forwards the request on to the email address that you could use directly. Hope that makes sense. Somewhere on this board you can find the email addresses for each of the ships steakhouses.

 

So if I did it over again, I'd probably email the steakhouse directly.

I booked on the Magic by contacting the steakhouse manager from the address I found here on the boards. Had my reply the next day.

I would do it by this website johnhealdsblog.com/askjohn and select Chef's Table.

I would recommend contacting the steakhouse (if applicable, otherwise maitre'd) directly. I did that tonight and had a reply within a few hours. There is another chef's table post that lists the email addresses for all of the ships. Good Luck :)

We made our reservation via John Herald's blog. Submitted the request and received an email confirmation within a week of submitting the request.

I just recently booked the chef's table as a surprise for my wife on our October cruise on the Elation. I used the following e-mail address. I sent an e-mail to the below address on Friday June 15 and had a confirmation response from Carnival on Saturday June 16.

I used this e-mail format on my request e-mail.....

I tried emailing the maitre'd on the Triumph before our last cruise and did not get a response. So as soon as we got on the ship there was a table set up in the lobby that allowed you to sign up. We signed up there. (We were on the ship by noon.) It was wonderful.

I read an earlier post on this and had success for our Sept cruise in the Triumph. I sent email to timaitred@carnival.com. Heard back within a couple of hours.

I just booked the chef's table on the Liberty. I emailed the steakhouse manager with my name, number of people, cabin number and got a reply 1st thing this morning confirming my reservations to the chef's table.

PSkinner is right! I just booked on the Triumph for our December 2012 cruise using the same info/contact and was confirmed within 24 hours. We're very excited! Good luck to you
