Mexican Riviera...port or starboard

With an itinerary of Puerto Vallarta first, then Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas what would you rate as the better side for views off your balcony? Info in general, and coming in and being in port for views would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Puerto Vallarta - starboard side looks over the bay and marina and is shady, port overlooks town.

Mazatlan - starboard over town and pier and is sunny in afternoon, port over inlet (boring)

Cabo - usually starboard is looking over town and in the shade from a balcony, port overlooks the arches and into the sun.

We usually like starboard, but will book either. Nancy

I prefer PORT side for MxR - Port side on the way south, so you get sun in the morning for three days only. Then you have the quay side for PV. In MZ, you have the lagoon side, instead of the ugly quay side (where all the disposable cars are), and for the most part in Cabo, you are on Land's End (El Arco) side depending on drift.

You also have Sunsets every day from PV onward.

:D

Ditto to what bardgal posted. I liked the port side as well.

My favorite view was when I awoke in Cabo, walked out to the balcony and I was staring at the rock formations...Lands End. What a beautiful morning that was.

This was the only cruise I didn't pack my binoculars...what a mistake that was!
