cruzingduo Posted June 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2012 Is there a chance we will see Puffins in mid September? We are docking in St John's on Sept 18th. I read that the whale season is over, but I'm not sure about the puffins.

We took a whale watch in October and saw quite a few off the coast of Massachusetts. They feed off of stellwagon bank.

Puffins are mostly gone back out to sea by mid Sept, but if the warmth we are experiencing this year continues you might just catch them, you are just around the time they leave. Anything else you'd like to know, just ask. Molly
