mid20scruiser Posted June 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2012 My husband and I leave for a cruise on the carnival liberty in 22 days and I haven't got a thing ready. We have a 2 year old and a 1 year old and things have been very busy. I have been so stressed out, recently I had to quit my job because of child care issues. I actually don't even have the energy to get all of our things together for this cruise. Anyone have a system of things that they do to prepare for a cruise? cruisinJenF Posted June 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2012 I think packing too far in advance causes you to overpack. Just make sure your Fun Pass is done and printed- your passport or birth certificate are in order and pack right before. Don't stress and over think things- its a vacation!!!! Sorry about your job :(
hayesktrm Posted June 22, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2012 Maybe having a packing list will help speed things up. I think my biggest stress is not having a list to kind of check off things. When I have a list, I feel much better. Here's a link to a list, she has a pdf file that you can download and print out and check things off when you have them. I hope this helps make things a bit less stressful! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=986205&highlight=packing+list P.S. I leave in 14 days and haven't really thought about packing yet. I will probably print out my list a week before to make sure I have things like sunscreen, then pack a day before. Have a great time!!! You will be getting on the Liberty when we are getting off, sad for us, happy for you!
