Labadee - Handicap access?

Recommended Posts

My sister is joining us on our Empress cruise in October. She has multiple sclerosis and is in a wheelchair (although she is able to walk short distances and get on/off the tender).

I love Labadee and our favorite area is Hideaway Beach. My question is: Do they have any faclity (like a golf cart or small vehicle) that they will use to transport handicapped folks across the sand to Hideaway Beach?

My friend's husband is in a wheelchair and just did a Western on Carnival. I referred her to Cruise critic's "Special Interest" section and she found a great deal of info there. Maybe it has something there about Labadee, but I don't recall. I remember reading cozumel's Chakanaab was wheelchair friendly. Have a great cruise and good job for her for going!
