scrappinheather Posted June 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2012 Currently we are signed up for the pirate ship adventure but I am thinking of changing to Las Calitas. I have a four year old boy and his 5th birthday will be 20 days after we cruise. Does anyone know whether he can do the zipline and donkey tour if he is so close to 5? We all do tend to get sea sick. Are we better off at Las Caletas than on the pirate ship. Frankly I would rather have two days in PV than 2 days in Cabo but I can't choose. Any insights would be appreciated! lovevacadays Posted June 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2012 Does Las Caletas know have a zip line and donkey tour? I don't remember those the last two times I was there. I really think a 5 year old would much prefer the Pirate Ship Adventure. It's a good size boat so you shouldn't have problems with seasickness but if you are worried get some seasickness meds from the ship's gift shop before you go and take it first thing in the morning
Ine Posted June 24, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2012 The zipline at Caletas is just for kids, they love it. I donot know about a donkeytour. Why not mail Vallarta Adventures with your questions, they organise the Caletastour. Check their website: http://www.vallarta-adventures.com/ There isnot much difference in sailing time between the tours you mention. Both bring you to the other side of the bay. Maybe for your 4 year old the pirateship might be more attractive.
