Anapli Posted June 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Buses to Kourouta beach has only from Amaliada town the summer months.. You must go from Katakolo to Pirgos and next to Amaliada and for the end go to Kourouta beach... Because of cruise time limits is not recommended.. Morgans Posted June 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2012 There is a small beach at Katakolon - turn left off the ship, past the houses and you're there! It's not marvellous but OK for a swim.
bennybear Posted July 12, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2012 Taxis will take you to a nearby beach. We rented a car for the other korouto. Nice enough, but not outstanding, This time we will just grab a cab to the close beach.

numbersix Posted July 12, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 12, 2012 There's a nice, but small beach nearby at Agios Andreas--we stopped there with a rentral car the last time we were there. We spent the morning at Olympia, and then lunch and part of the afternoon at Agio Andreas. There's a fun restaurant bar there, with change facilities. Check it on the map--it's only a few minutes drive from the ship. Enjoy your day!
