Mom.to.2 Posted June 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Anyone have pictures of connecting cabins on the GEM? Specifically, the mini-suites? I'm curious to see where the connecting door is and how the cabin is laid out. Thanks!
rebeccalouiseagain Posted June 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2012 They have the floor plans on the NCL website.
Mom.to.2 Posted June 26, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted June 26, 2012 I can't see where the connecting door is based on the floorplan on ncl.com. Can you? They're mini-suites, category MA http://www2.ncl.com/cruise-ship/gem/staterooms/2/suite#tab_detail
rebeccalouiseagain Posted June 26, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2012 Are you proposing getting two MA mini suites? The suite itself is just a bed and living area with a curtain no door.
Mom.to.2 Posted June 26, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted June 26, 2012 Yes, I've booked 2 mini-suites. I'd like to see where the connecting door is and how it affects the cabin set-up. Anyone here ever stay in connecting MA (midship mini-suites) on the Norwegian Gem?
crusinmama06 Posted June 27, 2012 #6 Share Posted June 27, 2012 This is only an educated guess ;) But when we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite - it connected to a mini suite on the other side. And when both doors were open from the outside for cleaning I could see that on the mini suite side - the connection was in the hall when you first walked in. So the bathroom would be to the right - connecting door would be across from it on the other side.
Mom.to.2 Posted June 27, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted June 27, 2012 Thanks Michele! I'm sure you don't remember, but you've answered several questions for me before. You're my Mommy Cruising phone-a-friend and you don't even know it :p. I also snagged a copy of your NCL children's mdr menu to show my kids, so thank you for linking that in your signature!
