Nassau plans

Hi everyone, my girlfriend and I are going to be in Nassau next week on July 12. We have already done the downtown thing and neither of us are really beach people, so I've made the following plans. I was hoping someone could tell me whether or not I'm going to have any problems that I am not thinking of.

Our ship gets in at 11:00 am and leaves at 8:00 pm.

I was planning on taking the water taxi to Paradise Island, and walking from that pier to the Green Parrot for lunch (to do this we would walk under the eastern bridge, is that safe?). From the Green Parrot we would walk to Atlantis just to burn money in the casino, no need for a pass or anything. Then from there we would walk through Marina Village on the way back to the water taxi and hopefully be back on the ship for dinner.

I just want to make sure there isn't anything I haven't thought of. We would be walking the whole time, and it looks like it's a little bit over a mile, which isn't a problem. Will this work?
