Thanks for all the 'votes'! :D:D (and a special 'hi' to Waddles ;) )

 

And I of course have my favorites too - Mistermom's review of the Liberty http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1610836 and already mentioned reviews by April (the Angry Bird review is HYSTERICAL), Kwagmyre's recent Liberty review and of course the continuing saga by fellow Canadians Mike and Tracy - how can one resist? :)

Thank you sooooooo much to everyone that mentioned me! :) Sorry, but you have to wait 4 more months until my next review. It will include Italy, France, Spain, and possibly Monaco, so it'll be worth the wait. ;)

OP - When I saw this topic, the first review that came to my mind was your Dream review...then I realized that you were the one who posted this thread lol. Your photos are amazing. If my Dream photos this Sept/Oct come out even half as good as yours, I'll be a happy camper (I mean, a happy cruiser...)

I always like a good Froufie review!

I also really liked the one with the family of "nerds" but I can't remember who that was.... I do remember they had an aft wrap and warned about the sun... but I didn't listen! Should have.... :) LOL!

I am also a big fan of the Angry Birds review. Was a little saddened that she didnt bring them along for her most recent sailing. Still a good review though.

 

Also enjoying mamaskittles review. Total trip and a half!

Funny thing....... I'm walking down the halls of Cruise Critic here, reasearching our Breeze cruise in December, and I hear my name mentioned.Then I find out that that people are talking about their favorite review thread, and mentioning me in the same breath as Vanislandcruisers, {{{Froufie}}}, Mike and Tracy, "The Angry bird", {{{GaPearl}}}, italianfemmy, Falkor, and all the others that I now know about, and will eventually get to read.(I don't get to read as much as I'd like to). Thank you, and Thank you to all the wonderful people who take the time to write these reviews, that not only entertain us, but inform us as well. Cheers!!!

Am I alone in enjoying the truly snarky reviews? There was one earlier this year which I think has since been removed by a group of snotty kids cruising on the Ecstasy.... think it was titled Classy Cruisers?

 

There was also the wild one with the OCD cruiser who posted about 1600 pics for a 5 day trip?

I read that review. I was mixed on it, and sort of had a mild altercation with the author (or friend of the author, I'm not sure). It made me laugh a lot in the beginning, but after a while the negativity and uppity-ness (yeah, that's probably not a word), really sort of got to me. I think there's a fine line between snark and b!tchiness, and it's completely subjective, of course. I love some good snark, but I loathe people who have nothing better to do than creatively complain about a vacation many people would be thankful they could even go on.

And the OCD cruiser... was his name radrayjax by chance? Yeah, it was too thorough for me. I sort of became annoyed with it as it got so far off topic sometimes and when you get that many photos, after a while you kind of numb out to what the stairwell on this deck looked like, the cross beam from this deck looked like, etc. But I definitely applaud his efforts, it was a bit epic!

I liked the Klassy Kruisers review so much that I friended them on Facebook. They mainly do reviews of Theme Parks which makes me jealous. They are really well travelled.

 

I guess in a way it was unfair for their review to have been posted here. They didnt post the review on Cruise Critic but a member posted a link to it. Their sense of humor isnt for everyone and I doubt they ever would have posted it on CC. However, I am glad that the OP found their review and posted it otherwise I never would have seen it.

Soooo happy to see people still posting here! I have started MammaSkittles review and am loving it so far.. I was laughing so hard that I started crying. :-)

 

Thanks everyone for keeping this thread moving along with positive material. I love that I now have a place to come back to in order to easily access the next "worthwhile read."
