A friend of mine (kind of a second Mother) is sailing on NCL for their 60th anniv. I know the date, ship, destination but not the booking Number. Can I order them a surprise? And if so any suggestions??????

You do need the booking # from my experience. My sisters tried to surprise me for my 50th birthday and ended up needing to involve me.

Here is the link for gifts you can purchase - http://www2.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/bon-voyage-gifts. It does look like the order form asks for reservation number and stateroom number, but there is also a number to call with questions, so I'd call to confirm that the info you have is enough.

Yes, you can. You will have to call the order in and they will look up the reservation for you. They won't give you that information, but they will let you order for them. Make sure you have them note on the reservation that your items are a surprise, hopefully, if your friends request an amenity confirmation, they won't send them one of your surprise.

 

One suggestion is to have the room decorated, it comes with a cake and will be a nice surprise when they open their door.

 

You can send wine, chocolate covered strawberries, flowers.....the previous poster gave you the link for NCL's Bon Voyage gifts, check it out. :-)

We have received OBC as Christmas/Birthday gifts and never have asked for our booking number so I know that it can be done. Just contact NCL and they should be able to take care of it for you - especially if you want it to be a suprise :D

I just ordered obc as a gift for a coworker that is sailing. I called one number, gave them the name and the ship and the date. They gave me the reservation number and transferred me to another dept which took the number and processed the obc. They emailed me confirmation which I put in a card and told the receiver to bring it on board with her in case it doesn't show up. Very easy process:) I thought it was going to be difficult but they were very helpful!

Last year on the Sun, our kids got us the Anniversary Pkg. Free photo, dinner @ Le Bistro w/ a bottle of wine, anniversary cake. It was just wonderful , a gift that we appreciated. I would highly recommend this as a gift.

Absolutely second that... a special dinner at LeBistro is f-a-r better than any of the in-room packages.
