donmimi Posted May 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2005 Anyone staying in Rome after the Black Cruise Sea trip? We are looking for someone to share private transfers to hotels in Rome from Civitavecchia -- the port. This trip is from 1 - 1/2 hour and will cost upwards of $250 Euros in a private taxi. We have found several options that decrease in price as the passengers increase! Don & Mimi Easton, CT
luv2kruz Posted May 11, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2005 I would highly recommend the train. Take a cab to Civ. train station and the train service is very good. Much better value than limo. My cruise began in Rome and I took a Limo service offerred by Hotel Alimandi Roma from Vatican City to Civ. Their info: HOTEL ALIMANDI >Via Tunisi n.8 >00192 Roma - Italy >Tel. +39.6.397.23.948 >Fax.+39.6.397.23.943 >E-Mail alimandi@tin.it >http://www.alimandi.org It is a family run transportation business. Nice people. They might be in Civ. dropping other pas. off from Rome. Hope this helps. But the train would be much less expensive.
