Manhatten sightseeing with EWR airport transfer

Im sailing on the Glory out of New York in September. I noticed today that Carnival offers a post cruise excursion the day we get back called the Manhatten sightseeing with EWR airport transfer. Has anyone done this? I would like to get some feedback from someone that has to see what they liked or didn't like about it. Our flight home doesn't leave until 5:20pm so I thought it might be a good way to kill some time and also get to the airport.

Haven't done this, but you could possibly try looking at some tours on Trip Advisor dot com that might be similar to just see how people rate them, how much time you really need, etc. I personally think NYC is fairly easy to navigate around if you are OK with taking the subway around and then maybe catching a cab to EWR...depends on pricing I know...sorry can't help much!
