myangel Posted July 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2012 Has anyone ever purchased Carnival's "vacation protection?" trying to decide if I should purchase that or shop around...
QLUVS2CRUZ Posted July 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2012 I think it's always best to shop around...I always compare Carnival and all the other choices at insuremytrip dot com, then take the best one.
arby70 Posted July 6, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2012 I've always used insuremytripdotcom. I always get more for my money there. But definitely shop around.
bzpilot Posted July 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2012 I've always used insuremytripdotcom. I always get more for my money there. But definitely shop around. I second the above in almost all cases much cheaper than Carnival themselves and better coverage. The only instance I know when Carnival can beat there prices is when traveling with elderly, because the last time I checked Carnival doesn't not use age as a consideration when pricing insurance when most others do. BenjiRodney Posted July 6, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 6, 2012 I always buy from Carnival and my PVP does not make me pay for it until he final payment is due because you don't really need it until that time.
NurseMarla Posted July 6, 2012 #9 Share Posted July 6, 2012 I bought the vacation protection through Carnival, but after seeing this & looking at travel guard I can save over $100. There is a remove link on my Carnival booking info thing, if I remove it will it just go to OBC since we are paid in full? I'm scared to click it!
