Carnival's "vacation protection"

I've always used insuremytripdotcom. I always get more for my money there. But definitely shop around.

I second the above in almost all cases much cheaper than Carnival themselves and better coverage. The only instance I know when Carnival can beat there prices is when traveling with elderly, because the last time I checked Carnival doesn't not use age as a consideration when pricing insurance when most others do.

Thank you for all your reponses. This will be cruise number 16 , but the first for buying insurance. Another thread on here "scared" me into it........ but I do know it is the smart thing to do.

I bought the vacation protection through Carnival, but after seeing this & looking at travel guard I can save over $100. There is a remove link on my Carnival booking info thing, if I remove it will it just go to OBC since we are paid in full? I'm scared to click it! LOL
