Shoes on Rock Climbing Wall

Can anyone tell me if they still provide shoes for the Rock Climbing Wall on FOS?

If we wear our own shoes, do they have to be close-toed? Would swim shoes meet that criteria?

I hate to bring along 5 pairs of sneakers (a pair for each of us) just to climb the wall. :rolleyes:

Climbing shoes and helmets are provided. No need to pack extra

Just bring socks...they provide the proper shoe!

They actually don't let you wear your own climbing shoes... well, they have to pass inspection. I've seen several people wanting to climb in their toe shoes be turned down.

We will leave the sneakers at home & just bring sock! 98 days & counting!:D

My daughter is a rock climber. She brought her own shoes and had no problems. The staff working the climbing rock saw she was really good and they even let her climb when it wasn't "officially" open to passengers.
