Tequila Anyone ?

We will be on the Fantasy July 20, and I hope to sample some of Mexicos' finest with my DW, and hope to "enlighten" some colleagues along the way.

Has anyone heard of a tequila tasting offered on board, similar to the martini sampler?

Nope, but the first night, usually during early dinner, they have a liquor tasting with a rather long line, and it includes tequila possibly.

 

I have a rather nice collection now of good 100% agave tequila from my cruislng. I just buy it in the shops onboard mostly if I have OBC .. but some in the ports too.

If one of your stops is in Mexico ,just get off the ship, buy a bottle , and drink all you want for little dinero (money)

In Cozumel there are many liquor and other types of stores that sell tequila that offer tastings... liberal, delicious, get ya drunk so you'll buy their tequila tastings. They are a lot of fun and you get to try before you buy so you know you will love what ever you bring home!

Try the Duty Free Shop in Nassau. In Mexico they let you sample the Tequila and explain the differences in types.
