Gingee Posted July 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2012 Looking at booking Carnival Glory from Boston round trip to Portland, St. John, Halifax, and Sydney next July. Any info. on average weather at that time of the year? Cruising weather? Land weather? We have been to St. John and Halifax before but hopefully can find something different to do this time. maryann ns Posted July 8, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2012 It could be hot and muggy, warm and sunny, warm and rainy or cool and rainy. Generally we have lovely weather in July with cool breezes off the water. Here is where to look for forecasts. I have put up Halifax, but you can use this to get to other places. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/ns-19_metric_e.html

They are developing new shore excursions all the time - so you will definitely be able to find something new to do in SAINT John and Halifax. Saint John has a new zip line , Bay of Fundy Scenic Railway, Hike Bike and Paddle etc. It is a great cruise, I did it in June ! :)

Aosborn Posted September 1, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2012 What will the weather be like in late September? Im trying to decide what clothing to take.
maryann ns Posted September 2, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 2, 2012 In late September it could be warm and it could be quite cool. It could be sunny and it could rain. Bring layers. For sure have a good water/wind proof jacket and a fleece or wool sweater. Bring long pants and shoes and socks, but also bring capris and sandals. The past few days: Friday hot, Saturday and today cool and sunny (about 68 degrees F). It will probably cool down a bit by month's end but the long range prediction is for a warmer than usual fall. maryann ns Posted September 4, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Google is your friend. Seriously I had never heard of it, but just googled it and saw plenty. Also ask on Trip Advisor in the New Brunswick forum.
