Hair Dryer?

Yes, bring your own! I don't believe your cabin will have one, and the hairdryers on newer ships that do have them are weak and on a pretty short cord. If you have hair longer than a pixie cut they don't do the job! It is worth it to pack your own!

I can't say as I always pack my own. My experience is with hotel dryers that by the time they dry my hair, it's time to wash it again. My hair is not long but it is thick. If you've successfully used hair dryers in hotels, you'll probably be ok. Otherwise, I'd just take one.

Just got off the elation last Thursday. They do not have hair dryers in each room. However we asked the room steward for one and he brought us a regular dryer to use for the week. He said they have several they lone out.

I had this same experience on the Elation in March...if you want a high powered dryer though, I recommend bringing your own.
