Who just got off Elation

:) Anyone out there that just returned from the Elation. Was wondering who was the cruise director and who was playing in the piano bar?;)

Thanks, I was on her in September and was wondering if it was the same people in those spots or do we have some new ones. I will be happy if we have a different piano bar guy, not that the one we had was bad just would like to have someone different this time. Considering that is where we spend most of our nights.

We just got off the Elation on May 1rst, and the cruise directors name is Jorge Solano. He was AWESOME! Also, we did not visit the piano bar, but I looked through my Capers and his name was Scot. It did not have a last name! I hope I helped : o )

Yep, Jorge is the cruise director...however we did not find him entertaining one bit. He was actually quite annoying to us. We were not pleased with the Elation experience overall though.

We had Jorge and thought he did a fine job. One of the best of all our cruises. What was it that was annoying to you?

We just came back from the Elation on Sunday. The only time when we peeked into the piano bar when waiting to take pictures of the gala buffet, the man playing was doing Billy Joel songs and was a look a like. Jorge was the cruise dierector but form what I gathered he is leaving in 3 weeks for his daughter's graduation and his assistant cruise director was getting his own ship.

We returned on Elation 4/17/05 and George was the cruise director. He was great. We had a wonderful time on the cruise! If I could, would go back tomorrow for another cruise...

We have a trip on Elation in June and our GYT apparently have been assigned OV rooms on the Riviera Deck towards the stern of the ship in the 200s range. Concerned about noise, etc. If any of you have stayed in this part of the ship (recently or any time) or can send me recent Capers, I'd love to hear back from you. Thanks neveslaw@hotmail.com

Is this Scott guy any good? I think the guys name when we were on there in September was name Dan or Dave or something. Shoot bythe time I got there I had already had a few so I really can't remember his name.

Ok, I know there are some Elation cruisers out there. I know you had to of went into the piano bar. I just wanted to know how is he or she? Are they good, bad or ok. I love this bar on most cruises. So if you have info on this please write about it. Thanks

Just got off of Elation on Sunday. Piano Guy was Scott something. He sounded ok. Only went in there once. It was not my thing though. George was the cruise director and was very funny. I could see where he could get annoying if you saw everything he did. We did not though. I did talk with him once and he was very kind. Everything was great on the ship.:D
