ItsAllAboutTheSass Posted July 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2012 It sounds like you are talking about credit card points. A statement credit would be a credit to your credit card account. An OBC would mean points credited to on board spending on your cruise.

Mom2JJandJ Posted July 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2012 Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a statement credit and an onboard credit. I need to cash in my points. Thanks You get a better points/$$$ ratio using them as statement credit. And, if you use your Carnival MC for your S&S, double points again. Then, once you have enough, use them for a statement credit again. There is a time limit to use them though I don't know for sure what that is right now. I know you can look online on your MC account and click on redeem rewards and it will give you a breakdown on what you need to use when and on what you can use them. It took me a minute to figure it out, but it really is pretty simple once you put a bit of logic to it. Good luck, and happy spending! ;)
