Winterstale Posted July 16, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2012 Anyone just off the Magic who can tell me how easy it is to get into Grand Cayman on the tenders if you aren't booked on an excursion? I saw a review that said someone was unable to get off of the ship before 10am - we get there at 7am so I really hope that's not true....we prefer to do things on our own, but I don't want to be stuck on the ship since we've never been to GC before.... firefly333 Posted July 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2012 Ive waited 30 minutes or so after they start the tenders and never once had a problem. Never waited more than 15 minutes to get onboard a tender... and Ive been there numerous times. let those in a huge hurry get off, and then walk down, np way before 10 am.. nonsense. Sargent_Schultz Posted July 16, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2012 The actual tender is 5 minutes or so, but allow 45 or so minutes to get ashore. Grand Cayman has some huge tenders and it takes a while to load and unload them. If you've never been to Grand Cayman before, you really should consider Stingray Sandbar.
