yoursurfer Posted July 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2012 I booked this today with pvp. I am reading conflicting info, handicap/not handicap. Beds can connect/not connect. Does anyone know? Has anyone stayed in this cabin?

k2excursion Posted July 19, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2012 It is handicapped. It says that the beds do not convert, but many people have reported that the beds actually can be pushed together if you ask the steward to do it. But I don't know. http://www.carnival.com/cms/fun/cruise_control/pdf/ADATriumphClass.pdf. Anything highlighted in blue is handicapped.

SadieN Posted July 19, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 19, 2012 Hopefully you need the handicap stateroom.
yoursurfer Posted July 19, 2012 Author #9 Share Posted July 19, 2012 No we are not handicapped. I think I need to call my pvp. I would hate to get bumped and would hate to use a hc room if someone else needs it
yoursurfer Posted July 19, 2012 Author #10 Share Posted July 19, 2012 So I called pvp. He said yes the room is a handicapped room and that IF we get bumped it would be to a higher category or the same. He also is very confident the beds can be pushed together so the bottom line is....I'm still confused! I think I will stay put and watch prices, hopefully with price drop I can change to balcony. We are laying for 3 cabins so price is an issue this time. Any thoughts......?

Most likely to a higher category.

The website says something like "two beds that do not convert to a king"......but that's a technicality. When I got to the room I was pleasantly surprised to find a queen bed :)
