new to Carnival

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before but we are planning our first cruise on Carnival. We are looking at a cruise that leaves San Juan. If the ship leaves at 10 PM at what time do they begin boarding?

We've done that cruise out of San Juan. We boarded at noon. You can check in and board, and then get off the ship and wander around San Juan, then get back on later. Or, you can just stay on the ship and enjoy your time on the ship itself.
