It can be great as long as there are not any Tropical systems passing by. All you need is a crystal ball!!

We are going on the Explorer of the Seas to Bermuda on the Oct. 14th sailing. I'm also curious about the weather.

We went to Bermuda a few years back.

 

Bermuda itself was fine. Nice warm temps.

I'd suggest Googling Bermuda weather averages for Oct.

While you can find weather sites on the internet which will tell you what the average temperatures and rainfall are in October in Bermuda, you won't find any information that will accurately predict what conditions will be during any given week in October, especially this far in advance. You can let the averages provide you with some idea of what you might experience, but if there is a tropical storm passing by Bermuda while you are there, all bets are off. The weather will be what it is and there is really little or nothing we can do except to accept that fact. We have been to Bermuda at least twice in October and encountered some occasional showers once, and a passing tropical storm that closed the port and delayed our departure by several hours the other time. Temperatures were quite comfortable and the waters were still more than warm enough for swimming.

Check the weather forecasts closer to the time you are going to be there, but remember that those forecasts are no more likely to be 100% accurate and reliable, than your local forecasts prove to be.:)
