Comfort Facilities

Recommended Posts

A sensitive subject, but I am going on the Med. Cruise this fall with my mother and she takes blood pressure medicine which increases trips to the Bathroom. Are the buses in Italy on the ship tours equipped and also on the land tours do they stop often. Thanks

I dont want to scare you but we were in italy last jan. and found the amount of public toilets very few and far between. Your best bet is to look for"macdonalds" as these usually have clean toilets(you may also be suprised at the cleanliness and PRICE of public toilets in general

I had bad IBS and was constantly on the lookout for toilets....

I cannot comment on tour buses though.

Sorry i cant give more constructive advise

Many cafes and bars in Italy have a toilet. If you go in and buy a coffee or a bottle of water, they are happy for you to use the toilet. I agree, the public facilities are few and far between.
