Rangiroa: Reef Island or Blue Lagoon with Jean-Pierre

Looking into excursions for Rangiroa. Has anyone out there got knowledge or experience with either the Reef Island or Blue Lagoon tour? If so, could you please pass along any information and/or recommendations. Thank You!

Rough ride but well worth it. Went with a local company. Great BBQ, incredible colors. Keep in mind that you will need to get out of the boat about 100 yards from the motus and walk your way to shore. Water is about 3 feet deep and there are black tip reef sharks everywhere so if you don't like the little critters don't take this tour.
