How to get Hawaii tourist magazines/coupons before hand?

Like any other places, Hawaii has lot of magazines for tourists at airports, hotels, etc. They have good descriptions of what to do, what to see, and with discount coupons.

 

Any suggestions on how to get these magazines beforehand?

 

Would any of the publishers mail them to you?

"This week" (www.thisweek.com ) and "Oahu Gold" (WWW.SPOTLIGHTHAWAII.COM) have really good descriptions and ads. This Week also pdf versions of previous issues and has coupons which are printable.

 

http://www.101thingstodo.com/ is more commencial, with lots of ads for tour packages. But there are also some good activity descriptions.

 

The map in "Oahu Gold" showing the details of Waikiki (location/name of hotels, International Market Place, etc.) is exactly the one I was looking for. It gives a good sense of what Waikiki is like before getting there.

We were in Waikiki in 2002 with the family. We had a blast, there is so much to do. It is a beautiful place. The snorkeling there is the best. If I can give any info from what I remember and things we did let me know.

I'm pretty sure that I've seen the magazine lying around to be given out. That said, I don't know if they would ship it to you or not. It's worth checking out, I think.
