Price line Miami Hotels

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used Priceline lines for hotels near the port in Miami? If so how much did you pay and what star was it rated? Last year I used it for Orlando and stayed in the Wyndham for 40.00. It was rated 3 stars. I just love when you can get a good deal.

We used Priceline for Miami and got the downtown Hyatt. I believe we requested 4 star hotels. We paid $75, which I know is more than other people have paid for it, but there was a lot going on that weekend at the hotel and in the general area.

This is a great tool for researching winning bids.

The Hyatt is a 3*. I think that you can't go wrong getting a 3* in downtown. The 4* is the Intercontinental. I've stayed here for a free trip once and it was very nice.

In March, we did a pre-cruise night at the Sheraton Biscayne Bay which is also a Priceline 3* and a lot of people are given that. I couldn't win with a bid up to $75 that day because it was Easter weekend, but I found it on Hotwire and I had a $20 (i think) coupon from Entertaiment, so we paid $62. I really like that hotel. This was my 2nd time there. The pool is lovely. And we had a great "cabana boy"! What was also nice is that I thhink I rented from Budget because it has an office at the Sheraton. We were in Miami for a 3-day pre-cruise, so I picked up the car in the Miami airport and dropped it off at the Sheraton. Very convenient.

My daughter and I stayed in Coconut Grove for 2 nights and then moved to the Sheraton and met the rest of my family at the Sheraton for one night.
