A different SNUBA question

I have searched, and have tried to find this answer, but can't.

Can anyone tell me if, on the SNUBA excursion, you take a boat out, and then if you enter the water from the beach, or if you drop into the water from the boat?

Anyone who has done the SNUBA, and ALSO the Gibbs Cay Stingray, are the logistics similar in nature? (aside from the obvious difference between snorkel and snuba).

Thank you for any info!

I found out the answer, so I'm going to post in case anyone else ever wondered.

For the Stingray & snorkel, we took a boat, pulled up to the beach, and got into the water there.

For the SNUBA, I was told we take a ten minute van ride, and enter the water right from the beach.

This is probably to late to help you, but yes, for the snuba you have a 10-minute ride to the beach (rocky shore) and then enter the water directly from there.

I did it about a week ago and it was GREAT!! Thoroughly enjoyed it!
