It feels great that I'm getting some stuff booked for my wedding in November next yr!

 

-I've booked the cruise (oasis of the seas nov 16, 2013)

-Finished my save the dates (for our Australian guests)

-Booked my wedding planner (janelle Scott island bliss weddings)

-Emailed my TA to arrange the hire of a specialty restaurant for my reception

 

Here is my ideal time line for the big day.

 

Ship docks 9am

Go to court house & obtain marriage licence

Go to hotel room near ceremony location (to be figured out)

Get hair and make up with bridesmaids

Have ceremony at 2pm ( maybe linquist beach)

Then drinks and snacks at beach

Head to ship at 5pm

Meet for dinner at specialty restaurant 6:30/7pm

After dinner casino n disco!

 

Please share your thoughts on if you think this is do-able!

Why the hotel room near the ceremony location?

Can you have hair and makeup done on the ship?

Then p/u license,head to ceremony, drinks etc on beach, dinner on ship

I can't see the work the hair and make up salon do on the cruise how ever there is a salon in st.thomas that is highly recommended and photos are beauitful so that was my main reasoning!

I'm also getting married in St. Thomas and we (my bridesmaids & I) were going to use Sugar & Spice for hair and make up because they have amazing reviews, but to save time we decided to go ahead and get our hair and make up done on the ship. It will just be a lot easier to already have our hair and make up done by the time the ship gets to St. Thomas! Your plan sounds great as well! Congrats girl! :)

 

Oh & I'm also using Janelle from Island Bliss Weddings for our ceremony! :)

We are also getting married in St Thomas. We are going on the Allure of the Seas RCCL. Our wedding day is October 3rd 2012!! 2 months away. We are using Janelle from Island Bliss Weddings also. I haven't decided on my hair and makeup. I am so nervous to wait and make an appoint with the ship when we board cause I feel the same way having not seen their work. But I have to make a decision quickly, and no one on this board or the internet for that matter has any reviews on the salon.
