Splendour of the Sea/Galveston?

For our 50th class reunion, we're considering a 4 or 5 day cruise out of Galveston on the Splendour of the Sea. Many of us have been on Rhapsody's 7-day cruise and had a blast. How do these ships compare? Any input is appreciated.

We have been on both.........liked both, but liked the layout of the Rhapsody better.......even though they are the same class of ship. Either would be fine but my preference would be Rhapsody.

Going on the Splendor in December and expect it to be very similar to the Rhapsody in regards to pax mix and the way it is run. :)
