First cruise as Platinum

This was my 10th cruise and first as a Platinum. I really enjoyed the perks. The first being the priority embarkation. We had priority going through security(which I didn't know), then check in and on to the ship. I could not believe how quickly we were on board. Very nice.

 

We so enjoyed the free bags of laundry. If you roll your clothes up you can get alot in the bag. Sure was nice coming home with clean clothes.

 

Got the binoculars. Would have preferred the day pack but its fine. Like the platinum pin. It says Inaugural year, VIFP club, Carnival 2012, GLORY. It is about 1 x 1 1/2 in size and has the whale tale logo.

 

They brought the chocolate strawberries on the last night. I was thinking they forgot, but they did not.

 

Priority disembarkation was great too. We put the luggage out the night before. They sent a letter telling us to meet in the dining room at 800 am. That worked out great.

All sounds good to me. My first will come in 47 days. Is it the norm to meet at 8AM for Priority disembarkation?

You can choose 700 am if you carry off your luggage and 800 am if you have them take it.
