ibcnusoon Posted August 17, 2012 #26 Share Posted August 17, 2012 Flip a coin all good I agree, I would narrow it down further by checking airfare. Which city is the least expensive to fly in to: Miami, Orlando or Tampa?
mamajules Posted August 17, 2012 #27 Share Posted August 17, 2012 What are the new 2.0 upgrades? Does the Legend have them? Do the Legend, Glory, or Liberty have the "Serenity area"? The Legend does not yet have the 2.0 upgrades - it is scheduled some time next year. These add things like Guy's Burger (Guy Fieri from the food network helped create this - burgers with special toppings), Blue Iguana Cantina (burritos and tacos), Red Frog Rum Bar, Blue Iguana Tequila Bar, Punchliner Comedy Brunch, etc. Legend, Glory and Liberty have the Serenity area. If you were on the Spirit, Legend is its sister ship. Where the aft pool was at the back of the ship, they re-did that area to be the Serenity deck on Legend. I love the Legend - sailing on her again this October. Have sailed Glory and enjoyed her, too. Have not done Liberty. I agree with some of the other posters, I like Legend's layout, laid back, less crowded vibe. Have a great cruise, whichever you pick!
MagnoliaFly Posted August 19, 2012 #28 Share Posted August 19, 2012 Do the Legend, Glory, or Liberty have the "Serenity area"? The Legend Serenity area is very nice! We spent a lot of time there especially at night. There was one night when we had high winds they had to remove all of the furniture and strap it down though.
