Flipflopsnfrozendrinks Posted May 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2005 We are bringing our 7 and 5 year olds on this cruise, any other kids going? It is a long cruise, during school, so I hope that ours aren't the only ones on the ship.

JulieVee Posted May 28, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2005 Close - we missed you by a couple of weeks. We are going on the Jewel on 10/2 with our 3 year old son. Enjoy :)
Flipflopsnfrozendrinks Posted May 29, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted May 29, 2005 Thanks, you too. This is our first time bringing the kids, we are not telling them about the trip until we get to the ship. In fact, we are sending them to school the morning of deparure, and picking them up at lunchtime, to get to Boston by 1:00. Have a great trip! JulieVee Posted May 29, 2005 #6 Share Posted May 29, 2005 Wow - they are going to be sooo surprised. I'm sure they'll have a great time. This will be our son's 3rd cruise, his first two were on Disney Cruise Line (he was 15 months & 22 months) and he really enjoyed it as did we :) We had cruised 7 time on Royal Caribbean before we had him and this will be our first time back since having him, we are from the Boston area and couldn't resist cruising out of Boston, it will be so nice to NOT have to fly ... that was the most difficult part of cruising w/our son! He'll be 3 and is potty trained so we may try out the club this time, we'll see what he thinks of the idea, or we might try in-room babysitting. On our first cruise we put him into the nursery for one night, no problems but on the second one he wouldn't have anything to do with it. Who knows this year, either way we plan on him not wanting to do either of these and we'll be pleasantly surprised if he does. You'll be getting off the ship the same day we are getting on :) Have a great time. Julie
Flipflopsnfrozendrinks Posted May 29, 2005 Author #7 Share Posted May 29, 2005 We are from Cape Cod, so not having to fly was the deciding factor on this cruise. It just adds more aggrevation with the kids. We will be sadly heading home as you are excidedly boarding! Have tons of fun! Kim
