This is a fantastic thread, thanks for all the information! I just booked one of the "hump" balcony cabins on deck 12 for March, 2014, so hoping to get some photos of actual cabins before we sail. We will be 4 in the cabin, so knowing where the beds are is very important to us ;). I'm also curious to know how much foot traffic there will be around the cabins near the splash academy, we chose one away from what appears to be the entrance, but I know other ships have problems with kids doing laps of the hallways

After some years absence in the NCL Forum I am back and hopefully can provide you with photos from the coming NCL ships.

Today afternoon I visited Meyerwerft shipyard.

The light conditions were not the best, a view through the glass wall is not very nice and some parts of the ship were covered with plastic but all in all you get an idea about Norwegian Breakaway. By the way the blocks in front of the Breakaway belong to Norwegian Getaway.

This is the direct link to the newest photos:

Enjoy the photos !

Who will be going with you?

P.S. I loved your thread about your cruise on the Allure of the Seas. Superb photos, etc, very tempting to book cruise on Allure, but alas no ... we are too used to NCL.

I will be going with my mom on both this one and the Silhouette on march. Matching our schedules with his is complicated, he is taking way too many clases.

I am glad you enjoyed my review, thanks for the kind words.

We don't play favorite with cruise lines, we actually want to try them all as long as they are in our price range. Maybe in time we get to do it.

of course. probably 3 or 4 times...

a day. lol cruise food doesnt walk itself off :P

K I just found out what the plank was.. (Forgive me, i Haven't eaten solo food in over two days :P) I thought it meant walking around the boat, but nooooo I'm too afraid of heights for that. Actually, maybe I have to see more to make my decision.

SO excited for our honeymoon! We are on the 5/19 sailing of the Breakaway! Does anyone know if they keep the pools open while we are in port for 3 days? I know they close the casino but I have never sailed with NCL nor have I stopped in one port for multiple days so i wasn't sure.
