Car rentals at Port Everglades

Are there any car-rental agencies at Port Everglades near where the cruise ships dock? We need a rental car to get to Miami Beach where we will spend the night before flying back to Seattle.

There are car rental facilities are just outside the security perimeter of Port Everglades, but not within walking distance. The bulk of the car rental facilities are at the Ft Lauderdale airport, a five minute cab ride from Port Everglades. A number of car rental agencies provide free shuttle service from the port to their respective rental locations. Check Avis, Alamo and Hertz first, I believe I've seen their shuttle vans at the port.

National also provides a shuttle - we rented a mini van for a reasonable amount from them.

Budget has a location very close to Port Everglades in Quay Plaza.
