Help me decide

We have never sailed Celebrity before because we tend to love the big ships of RCCL. We are thinking of doing a Celebrity cruise on Constellation but from what I can tell on the website, the sky suites all seem to look down on equipment instead of the sea. Please tell me I am wrong. Thanks for your expert advice.

We've stayed in one (6130) and been in a few different ones, and it's true that some have equipment below the balconies, but it doesn't interfere with the view at all from the cabin, and even on the balcony, you have a wonderful view of the ocean. Unless you have to be able to look directly down and see water, I don't think it'll bother you. If you're nervous, try booking either the SS near the penthouses- great cabins, or booking the SS on decks 7 or 8 instead of deck 6.

Blazerboy, thanks for the info. We are spoiled by RCCL verandas and being right over the water. Glad to know which one to book if we decide to go with X. Have you sailed in Jr. Suite or suite on RCCL? The extra room is so great, I hope we will not be disappointed in the SS on X.
