What is this Free Show I heard about

My in-laws were on a cruise recently that stopped in Costa Maya. We will be there in a few months on a cruise. They told us about some free show near the pier that they said was very good. What is it they are talking about and is it good?

The cruise lines created a shopping area out of an empty place on the coast. This is the pier area. In this shopping area is a little amphitheater where they have a folklorica type show. I can't tell you if it was good, I was in Mahujual.

As was stated, the show is in an amphitheater in the middle of the tourist area at the end of the pier. My daughter and I sat and watched the dance performances; we both really enjoyed the show. I would not say it is one of those "don't miss!" type of activities. But if you can, plan to take 45 minutes to sit and watch. It's free and it's fun.
