Boarding at separate times - same documents

We've never had this situation come up before but we are a group of 7 in 3 different rooms. 2 of the people staying in one room are coming from different directions and will arrive at the pier at separate times.

 

If a photocopy of the docs are made, can they board at separate times or does the early arriver have to wait for the other person?

 

It will be this Saturday in Seattle, on the Jewel.

If they were booked in a specific cabin and all the info was given to fill out edocs online they should be able to just print their own edocs for there own room. Or the photocopy will work as NCL already has the info
