B17 Posted August 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2012 We are sailing on Divina in October and have opted for 2nd sitting dining. However I have just read that 2nd seating is at 9.30pm which is way too late. My question then is can anyone tell me what time is first sitting please. wilson2579 Posted August 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2012 I'm in the same position as yourself. Normally we go for 2nd sitting but this is too late, especially as our cruise isn't until the end of October and the nights will be dark quicker, so no long sunbathing out on the deck. B17 Posted August 30, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Problem is depending on where I try to source my info I have read very conflicting times. 7pm and 9pm 6.45 and 8.45 and the latest review I read said second sitting was at 9.30. Does this mean first is at 7.30? Its all so confusing. Could just about manage with 7.30 and am hoping now thats its not too late to change as I know our cruise is fully booked. wilson2579 Posted August 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2012 I have read that the timings are not universal but depends on the time of year and where the sailing is to. Our cruise is fully booked also. If I go to the late sitting I may have had too many wines to enjoy my food:eek:
MSC Cruises USA Posted August 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Hello Cruise Critic friends! Dining times do vary depending itinerary and port visits. Approximate dining times are below: Mediterranean: 1st seating: 7pm--- 2nd seating: 9pm Northern Europe: 1st seating: 6pm--- 2nd seating: 8:30pm Again, these times are approximations and can vary.
