Who Is John Kern?

Question for Carnival veterans:

I've received an e-mail from a "John Kern", purportedly at Carnival Cruise lines. However, the e-mail addy ends in @yahoo.com. That seems fishey if the source is someone at Carnival.

I'm asking because there is a link in the e-mail supposedly connecting to "healthgourmet". I never open an unknown link if I'm not 100% positive the source is legitimate.

Do any of y'all know if John Kern is a legitimate Carnival employee?

If it were, it should be coming from someone with a @carnival.com at the end.

I received the same not too long ago...it came in as spam. I deleted it without opening it.

I recieved an email a couple of days ago from someone claiming to be from Carnival but the email was blank except for an attachment and link. The email address looked like a carnival address until the last part where it did not come from Carnival.com, I did not click on it as I thought it was too unprofessional to be from Carnival. But after what I am reading here I am glad I did not. Looks like the spammers and hackers are using CCL as a disguise now too.
