luv cruising 007 Posted September 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Rest in peace Wilbur, we all wanted your life on the beach all day & night long! To those that saw Wilbur at the Reggae Beach bar in St Kitts you know he will be missed BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN! You put a smile on everyones face, & was an icon to St Kitts & the Rggae Beach bar! Sorry to pass on the sad news! I saw him on my Victory cruise but anyone can Please pass it on to other cruise boards that have seen him with diff. cruiselines & diff. vacations! So we can all wish him well in "hog heaven" **I know I saw him on the Carnival Victory but I saw that Celebrity stops in St. Kitts alot & you guys that saw him will miss him too**
caribhasher Posted September 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Saw Wilbur grow up from a piglet to his last day. Went to the funeral which was very well attended by residents/locals, visitors, Ross University, taxi drivers and lots more - not to be joking seemed like a state funeral. He had a gentle personality and great character. Wilbur was buried at the beach and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
centralcalicruzer Posted September 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Aww, that is so sad - does anyone know how old he was?
paul58 Posted September 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Wilber was about 10 years old. Old for a pig considering that a pig raised for butchering is usually about 5-6 months old.

dot73 Posted September 6, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2012 That's so sad. I was hoping to see Wilbur during my January cruise. Wilbur lived in heaven on earth and now he is in pig heaven. BTW, do they still have that cheeky goat that would steal people's food when they went swimming?
