Cruising with just a "carry-on".

My wife and I were able to travel through Italy for 22 days with carry-on bags only. But our upcoming first ever cruise - Princess Voyage of the Glaciers for seven days in mid-August - is a whole different issue.

 

One of us thinks it's possible (me); the other says absolutely no way! Am I crazy to think I can pack a suit and all the other necessary changes and "layerings" in a carry-on with a small zip-off backpack? Has anyone accomplished this trick with their spouse also doing "carry-on"?

The original post was 8 years go. I am sure that circumstances have changed alot since then.

But we could never sail with just a carry-on. However, the friends that are sailing with us are doing just that.
