ferfoodle Posted September 12, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2012 I assume you are asking about the AFT P part. That would be the aft of the ship (the back) and P is for Port side (left). Your room number 2362 on Deck 2. Basically = go to deck 2, left side, somewhere between the mid ship elevators and the back of the ship.
serene56 Posted September 12, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2012 according to past posts --Carnival Valor this cabin is midship not aft located right by the elvator. its oceanview for 2 people but its next to a cabin that is connecting. but no neighbors on the other side. or across from you either. its basic so any cabin photo you see is what you will be having. 2462 is an amazing cabin and located in the aft. I think they would consider it aft, since the cabin is after the mid ship point. The luggage tag would be used by the crew to put the luggage in the correct cabin and I don't recall ever having a luggage tag that designates mid ship. It's either aft or forward. So even if the cabin is more mid ship, for luggage purposes it could be considered aft.
