Cruising on Christmas day

What should we expect? We are on Viking Spirit and will be in Rouen on Christmas day. I am assuming most stores, restaurants, museums, etc will be closed. Maybe attend a service at the cathedral? Special meal on board? TIA.

We have spent several Christmases in Europe. You can use Google to pull up the city's tourist board website and start looking there.

 

Last year we were in Prague Christmas Day and Christmas Eve and there were some restaurants and shops open, we well as concerts and Prague Castle. There were also some Christmas markets open.

 

We have not been on Viking nor on the itinerary you are sailing but I would expect they will have the boat decorated and will have a special dinner.
