iadom Posted September 16, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2012 Anyone done this on recent Eclipse cruises? I expect a bit of sea spray etc, just wondering about taking and using a camera and camcorder on this activity. Is it allowed, sensible or would you advise against. Jim. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD It certainly is allowed. The boat won't be much different than going out with your camera on any excursion and having it start to rain. Just have something to cover/protect the camera if it gets choppy or wet.

Tug10 Posted September 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2012 I am on the Eclipse leaving Southampton on the 29th September and have booked this excursion too. Has anyone been on this excursion and have any comments on what it was like as I was originally going with my sister but that as now changed and I will be going with my mum (although my mum is adventurous and will try anything). I've heard some people say the sea can be quite rough etc.....how far out do you travel? And I see they recommend you take sea sickness tablets if you are prone to getting queasy!
