Question for Arubalisa or anyone familiar with Aruba

Have searched and read many many posts on what beach to go to, but still not sure and have questions.

We're looking for a beach with very calm, clear, and shallow waters (no sudden drop-offs or undertows). Which beach would you say better fits this description: Palm Beach or Eagle Beach?

If we go to Palm Beach, what hotel would you recommend we sit in front of?

If we go to Eagle Beach, what hotel should we sit in front of?

Which beach/hotel is most cruiser-friendly?

Any other tips/info are greatly appreciated. Thanks!:)

Palm beach is calmer than Eagle but for what you are looking for I would suggest Baby Beach.

Thanks for the suggestion. Baby Beach does look very nice and the reviews are excellent, but it seems a bit far from the port. I think were leaning towards Palm Beach.

Any suggestion as to what hotel we should sit in front of?

On Palm Beach, email the Radisson and inquire as to whether or not they still offer day passes. If not there are many vendors who rent chaises and umbrellas. If you walk the concrete walkway from the street between the Radisson and Riu, when you reach the beach there are two vendors right there to the right.
