Which casino chips are the best buy?

Last year on the Jewel I purchased $50 chip for $25 which I had to spend the whole anount. I could not spend $5 and cash in for $45 in cash. Does NCL do the same thing since they sell their chips for face value. There are 4 of us going so I thought that I would purchase chips as a bon voyage gift since we all like to gamble and one person never has cruised before.

That is correct, you cannot cash them in, you can however cash in your winning's.

NCL have item#721, under Bon Voyage pay $10.00= get $20.00

when i cruise, i buy from slotplay and ncl... once on board, you lose the opportunity. I feel very good about the money I save, and hope for a big win !!!!:)

i have got the slot purchase on board, where you get $125. for $100. but like the chip, you can only cash in the winnings.

 

Personally, i like to purchase the winning one !!! :) :) :)
